Every School in the United States has a "School Safety Plan" This plan is used when there is an emergency. Schools must do Safety Drills to remind the students and faculty what they should do in case there is ever an emergency. A lot of work and organization go into making sure these drills are working properly. The Schools number one priority is to get people to safety. And in this case it would be in a school shooting. Since most people tend to panic during any emergency, a school shooting is one of those times where you must know what to do at that very moment because unlike any weather emergency it usually has a time period but with a school shooting you just never know. If you don't know what to do in case there was a school shooting, please contact your administration and ask them what your School Safety Plan is.
