Risk factors and warning signs of youth gun violence:

Risk Factors:
-History of violent victimization or involvement
-High emotional distress
-Antisocial beliefs and attitudes
-Exposure to violence in the family
-History of agressive behavior
-Poor emotional attachment to parents
-Social rejection
-Gang involvement

Warning Signs:
-Making violent threats when angry
-Fascinated with guns
-Resorts to abusive language
-Jokes about going on a shooting spree
-Incapable of handling anger
-Has previously brought a weapon to school and has acess to a gun.

Wow... this information is kind of freaky. While I was reading I was thinking of anyone who might fit those descriptions. Luckily, no one came to mind. Great information!

This is a great section. Good job on the info. Its also sadly funny because a lot of the signs before commiting an act is almost basic and should be caught very easily.
